Practice Log: Submission Defense

Notes:
- Stack for armbar
- Extend for triangle
- Both arms in or both arms out for triangle
Triangle Defense 1:
- Gable grip to prevent them from pulling my arm accross my body
- push down on hips with gable grip and posture up
- Get other arm inside of their legs, transition to being in their closed guard
Triangle Defense 2:
- When desperate
- Get gable grip
- Stand up on both feet
- Sit back onto butt, get feet into opponent's armpits
- deadlift to break triangle
Arm Bar Defense 1:
- With opponent attacking armbar from bottom
- Grab my bicep with attacked arm, feed free hand into opponent's leg pit
- Stack opponent, apply downward pressure to compress their body into the mat
- Lawn mower your arm out
Arm Bar Defense 2:
- With opponent attacking armbar from top
- Shrug leg over my head
- Bridge and drive my back over their leg
Arm Bar Defense 3:
- With opponent on top, me on back
- Get gable grip to prevent arm extension
- Fish free elbow under opponent's leg, rotate under leg
Cross Collar Defense
- As soon as grip comes, swim under their arm and answer the phone
- Note: Break their grip with same side as their grip. I.e. if their are gripping my left lapel, break with my left arm
Ezekial Defense
- Touch cheek bones
- Frames
- Yes- it is that simple.
