General grip notes:
- Monkey Grip
- Elbows tight to my side
- If actual fight, elbows push into opponents body (neck, ribs, etc)
- Ride the motorcylce to lock the grips in
Side Control Escape
- Get t-rex/snake grip on back of opponents head
- Bridge to get other hand on opponent's far side hip (think underhook their hip
- Keep pressure on back of neck, lift other arm up, and forward shrimp to rotate out of side control
- Come out with grip around neck, can finish with RNC-type technique
Kiumra Grip Break
- If opponent grabs their lapel to prevent kimura
- Pull the arm away from the gipr
- i.e. if their grip is a C, move it straight backwards
Rodeo Control
- Get Kimura grip
- With the hand gripping the opponent's wrist, grab the belt of the opponent
- Hand the belt off to my other hand
- Tight grip, hold on for the ride
Humiliation Arm Bar
- Get Kimura grip
- Move my body (hips) over opponent's head
- Side note: can put fist onto opponents neck through my crotch here to finish (it sucks)
- scrape their free hand back behind my legs
- opponent goes for gripping their own leg
- Reach my free hand under their leg, replace that grip with hip pressure to keep their arm in place
- In one motion, pull their leg up and push my hips forward
- They will now have their arm pushed between their legs
- PUt my body weight/elbows over their leg and grab their hand/arm
- pull up to create a "bar" on their own leg
- If they get out, recover original kimura
