Practice Log: Top Half Guard

General notes:
- Maintain control
- if they posture up or try to scramble, gable grip their hips and keep control
- Don't let them get underhooks or get to dogfight
Transition to side control
- From top, get underhook w/ inside arm
- Get into tripod position
- use leg that is not entangled to push off the opponents leg and "hop" out of their guard
- I can also use to free leg to vine into their leg and break the guard
Double Leg Control
- From top w/ Opponent having a knee shield
- Push opponent knee accross my centerline
- Bend at hips to collapse their legs together,
- Wrap my arm under their legs and try to staple them shut with my shoulder pressure
- Tripod up, rotate over their trapped legs and get crossface
- Push opponent onto their side
