Today, we simply worked on rolling from several different positions. I learned three techniques from the guys I rolled with.
Peterson Roll
- with me in turtle position, if opponent reaches arm around my chest/belly
- Trap opponents arm very tight
- Forward roll onto the should that is trapping their arm
Clock Choke
- with opponent in turtle, get cross collar grips from behind
- bring my hips over opponent’s shoulder and sit down
- the collar will tighten ridiculously
An Escape from Full Mount
- get out of opponents leg hooks
- get their knee in between my legs
- can use my leg to fishhook their leg and lift it up
- can push knee down while I shrimp
- feed my arm under opponents knee and shrimp out
